Tia Aery will be joining us for our October 8, 2023 Faith + Works service. The title of her talk is “Keeping the Promise for 35 Years.”

Family Promise of Essex County (formerly the Interfaith Hospitality Network for the Homeless of Essex County) got its start at First Church (now known as Faith + Works Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Orange).  Executive Director, Tia Aery, will describe how the organization has evolved over the years and helped thousands of Essex County families in need with the help of dedicated volunteers from the community and different faith traditions.
