Frank has been a member of the First Unitarian Universalist Church of Essex County
in Orange, New Jersey since 2000. He has chaired the Buildings and Grounds Committee
and has served as a Trustee and Vice President before becoming President this year.
Prior to joining First Church he was an active member of the Unitarian Universalist
Society of New Brunswick for ten years.
Frank was born and raised in East Brunswick, New Jersey and attended Trenton State College, now The College of New Jersey, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice. He worked for the Middlesex County Probation Department supervising a juvenile caseload, and for the State Department of Corrections as a Youth Advocate. Following a career change several years ago, Frank now works in sales as a Senior Account Manager in contract furniture and design.
First Church has been a place for Unitarian worship since the doors opened in 1893. The congregation has a long history of active involvement in the struggle for all aspects of equality. Frank’s interest in social justice and in preserving and improving the building and its facilities, making them more accessible to the local community, will be the focus of his tenure.
Frank lives in West Orange with his wife Nina and two cats. He is a volunteer with the West Orange Juvenile Conference Committee and enjoys tennis and golf.
