Directions to the Church

The Church is on Cleveland Street in Orange -- south of White Street, north of Main Street --on the left if you are walking north, on the right if you are driving south. That stretch of Cleveland Street is one way, so you must come south from White Street if coming by car (unless you park at the train station and walk from there). There is parking behind the building.  

From Rte. 280 Westbound: Exit 11B; right at third light onto Essex Avenue; cross Main Street at light; at stop sign, left onto White Street; left at light onto Cleveland Street; church is on right, halfway down the block.

From Rte.280 Eastbound: Exit 11; immediate left onto Essex Avenue; cross Main Street at second light; at stop sign, left onto White Street; left at light onto Cleveland Street; church is on right, halfway down the block.

From the Orange train station (on the NJ Transit Morris & Essex Line):

• If you have come on the train from the direction of New York, exit the station through the parking lot, keeping the Post Office building on your left.   Cross Main Street at Tony Galento Plaza, and go north on Cleveland Street, half a block.
• If you have come on the train from the direction of Summit, exit the station in the direction the train was going, and go left on Essex Avenue, passing under the train tracks.   Left at next light onto Main Street; next right onto Cleveland Street.

On Sunday, train leaving Hoboken 8:36 a.m. and Newark Broad Street 8:51 stops at Orange 9:00, and train leaving Penn Station (NY) 8:42 and Newark Broad Street 8:58 stops at Orange 9:08. Church is usually open for choir practice from 9:00 a.m.

By bus: The NJ Transit number 21 bus leaving Penn Station in Newark 9:10 a.m. Sunday stops at Main Street and Cleveland Street in Orange about 9:38. The number 92 bus leaving Bloomfield Civic Center 9:35 a.m. Sunday stops at Main St. and Day St. in Orange 9:44. (From Day St. walk two blocks west on Main St. to Cleveland St.)
