Social Action

Recent activities by our Social Action Committee have included:

• Organization of Cleveland Street Block Association.
• Getting broken swing replaced in neighborhood park.
• Forum on detainees and immigrant forums, held on March 6th, 2004.
• Visitation of detainees in the INS Detention Center in Elizabeth.
• Providing fair trade coffee from Equal Exchange at our coffee hours.
• English as a Second Language lessons for neighborhood day workers.
